Il Gi Dojang Geneva

Taekwondo is a martial from South Korea which is practiced without weapons. Taekwondo is famous for its spectacular kicks but it is a complete martial art with sparring, Poomsae (forms), Hanbon Kiriougui or one-step sparring, Hoshinsul (self defence) and Kyokpa (breaking techniques). We work on all these aspects at Il Gi Dojang Geneva

Teacher seminars

The teachers of the club participate regularly in seminars and special trainings with Swiss Taekwondo to keep up to date with sparring rules, changes to poomsae and other themes related to teaching martial arts. On occasion our sister clubs in France also organise trainings by Grand Masters visiting from abroad, national trainers or European / World champions to learn from. Some of these trainings are available to non-teaching staff
